About

Growing up I was always drawing, even when I wasn’t supposed to. No paper was safe from a doodle or two, even if it was a math test. I consider myself one of the lucky ones that it has grown to become my career.

I chose illustration because I love to tell stories that inspire people. Sometimes it’s big stories that are hard to express with words, other times, its not that deep. I love both.

Always eager to learn and to get my hands in a variety of projects I am a research driven worker, making sure the work always matches the projects needs. I particularly love projects that cause me to step outside of my comfort zone. I appreciate the opportunity to go the extra mile, do the work required to meet the needs of the project, and come out on the other side better than I entered. I am never satisfied with the status quo and despite the cliche, I have been described by my peers as a team player, willing to rise up to any challenge with a smile.

I’ve lived in Minnesota nearly all of my life and I do my best to take time to enjoy all that the state has to offer. Camping, canoeing, or hiking with friends and family is one of my favorite past times, and if I can bring my dog, all the better.

Previous clients include Fulton Brewing, Amberjack Publishing, Metro Transit, Minnesota Private Colleges Council, Minnesota Hockey, Wise Ink, and the City of Minneapolis. I have participated in curated poster shows for both Artcrank and Posters for Parks. I have also volunteered my work pro-bono for causes near and dear to my heart - Save the Boundary Waters and Sweet Potato Comfort Pie.

I love all my work as a product designer, illustrator, graphic designer, and entrepreneur! I see new challenges as opportunities to grow and improve.
